Mission Statement


Accountability and Responsibilities

  • Schedules, coordinates and works with Store Leader in leading store meetings
  • Follows up on proper execution of in store training requirements
  • Attends advanced training seminars as required by the Royal Farms Training and Support Center
  • Functions as Store Leader for relief, days off and vacations
  • Promotes the team concept and builds confidence and ability within the store staff
  • Maintains a safe working and shopping environment at all times through enforcement of safety and security procedures
  • Check in vendors
  • Orders product for in store delivery
  • Efficiently prepare bank deposits and completion of daily paperwork
  • Completes price book functions and paperwork administration
  • Assists the Store Leader in scheduling and assigning job duties to store employees, using labor guidelines
  • Assists with counseling of employees and provides input on performance reviews
  • Achieves or exceeds store budget requirements
  • Enforces rules, procedures and policies
  • Executes the company mission, corporate strategy, goals and objectives
  • Completion of competencies including:
  • Pricebook Mastery
  • PBII update, E-mail, and PC Functions
  • Six (6) week sheet, Perpetual inventory, Updates
  • Inventory Control certification
  • Personnel Certification
  • Auditing and Controls Certification
  • Policy and Procedure final exam
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the District Leader or Store Leader

Requirements / Pre-Requisites:

  • Displays outstanding work ethics at all times in the areas of honesty, efficiency and dependability
  • Display punctuality and a neat appearance
  • Must be able to work all shifts as requested
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

This position requires constant standing, bending and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity. Frequent lifting of 1 –5 pounds and occasionally lifting of up to 50 pounds is required.

Ability to perform tasks in all areas of the store which may include exposure to the cold while working in the cooler/freezer and while maintaining the parking lot and exterior areas of the stores perimeter.


Has demonstrated the ability to have met or exceed all testing and job requirements for all three entry level positions – Customer Service Associate and/or Food Service Associate or Customer Service Leader (See all Three Job Descriptions).

Six months to one year retail experience or six months to one year in store as a Customer Service Associate, Food Service Associate and Customer Service Leader.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
